Maria Boisvert About the Artist: Maria Boisvert, born and raised in New England , moved to San Jose, CA in 1979 She developed her interest for drawing and painting at an early age, and was recognized and encouraged by her instructors throughout her academic years She completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art and Sociology at Plattsburg State University, New York, with Dean List status for her outstanding accomplishments and artistic achievements During this period, her exhibits included Ballard mill Center for the arts in Malone Gallery; Plattsburg State University Gallery; and various Groups in the greater Hartford, Connecticut area. From her appreciation of California landscape, to the people she has encountered abroad, Maria has successfully captured the beauty and culture that surrounds her.Here works are in private and corporate collections.
